WWED is currently utilizing Innovyze InfoWater and InfoSWMM hydraulic modeling software and is moving to the new application versions named InfoWater Pro and InfoWorks ICM. Changing hydraulic modeling software packages will cause potential delays in analyzing land development projects, issuing Utility Connection Permits to land developers, and preparing project outlines for Capital Project Improvements. Additional financial resources would be required to convert and calibrate existing models into a new brand of software systems. Financial costs include consultant services to convert and verify calibration of the models and training for staff members on how to use the new applications and maintain the models. The use of an alternate source by switching to a different hydraulic modeling software will cost the County time and money in terms of loss of institutional knowledge, re-training staff, converting hydraulic model files, and testing calibration of the models for a new application. Autodesk, Inc./ Innovyze, LLC is the sole developer and owner of the InfoWater Pro and InfoWorks ICM software packages, including all extensions, versions, updates, upgrades, and maintenance. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
