Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will replace 3 Dune Walkover Structures damaged as part of Hurricane Nicole in Fall 2022. These walkovers are located in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach along the coast of Volusia County. The ideal contractor would be able to mobilize and work multiple sites simultaneously. The start of this project will begin during Turtle Nesting Season and special conditions will be required for work on the beach during Turtle Nesting Season. The County of Volusia, Public Works Department / Coastal Division is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the construction of Hurricane Nicole Dune Walkover Repairs - Group 2 located at Multiple sites on Volusia County coastline (18th Avenue, Schnebly Recreation Center, Standish Drive) From Ormond to New Smyrna Beach. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings.
