Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a sole source procurement to Huber Technology, Inc. (Huber), from the effective date on the approved contract through January 31, 2031, at a total cost of $636,810.00 for continued ongoing and as-needed proprietary Huber brand parts, maintenance and installation of the existing Huber equipment currently in operation to include; two (2) Huber belt screen EscaMax 500x952x3,5, two (2) Huber screening wash press WAP 2 and, two (2) Huber-RotoMat Schneckenpresse Q-Press 800. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-205(2)(e) of the County’s Procurement Policy as maintenance, parts and services of the existing system is being provided by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Huber Technology, Inc., the only reasonably known representative to provide the required proprietary parts and services. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
