ications 3.1.1 Overview Contractor to replace two (2) Aerco boilers with two (2) Lochinvar boilers located in the Hogle Center, Bldg. #27. Aerco boilers will be relocated to the left of the Lochinvar boilers. 3.1.2 The Work 3.1.2.1 Contractor will disconnect and remove the electrical, gas, water, and flu pipe. 3.1.2.2 Contractor will use a lull to remove the existing boilers and set the new boilers in their place. 3.1.2.3 Contractor will move the working Aerco boilers over so there will be two (2) Aerco Boilers on left side and two (2) Lochinvar boilers on the right side. Boilers currently located in boiler location #3 and #4 will remain on FSDB’s campus to be used as spare parts. 3.1.2.4 Contractor will tie back in all of the existing electrical, gas, water, and flu pipe on the Aerco boilers upon relocation. For the new Lochinvar boilers, Contractor will have to upsize the vent piping from the sixteen (16) inch Y fitting back to each boiler. Duct will be new double wall stainless ten (10) inch. 3.1.2.5 Contractor will have to rework the electrical for the new Lochinvar boilers. 3.1.2.6 Contractor will have to run new conduit and wire for each boiler from the panel on the back wall. Lochinvar boilers will be 208 3 phase. Current Aerco Boilers are 460 3 phase. 3.1.2.7 Contractor will make any piping modifications necessary to get the new boilers hooked up (gas and water). 3.1.2.8 New boiler hookups to be compatible with Honeywell HVAC controls. 3.1.2.9 Contractor will have the piping insulated when all work is completed. 3.1.2.10 Once the boiler is installed, Contractor will schedule a factory start-up on new Lochinvar boilers.
