Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Videotaping shall be conducted from a helicopter at an altitude of approximately 150 feet along developed coastline and 100 feet along undeveloped coastline (long segments), and from approximately 200 feet seaward of the waterline to 1500 feet landward of the waterline, at a helicopter speed of approximately 40-50 knots. The frontward frame of the videography shall be the wet sand. Camera Copters, Inc. (CCI) is the only provider of these unique specifications that are crucial to DEP’s requirement to provide high-quality High Definition (HD) video for post storm analytical purposes related to coastal damage, recovery, regulatory, and planning functions following a major hurricane in the State of Florida.
