Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Physical security of the entire campus, including buildings and parking lot, located at the A. D. Harris Learning Village, 819 East 11th Street, Panama City, Florida. The campus size is approximately 5.6 acres. B. This is an unarmed, uniformed security officer assignment. Specific duties will be as outlined in Sections IV Security Operation Procedures. All assigned security guards will read and comply with the Security Operation Procedures for this facility. The Contractor will be required to provide verification of compliance with this requirement. C. Bidder shall comply with all applicable provisions of Florida Statute 493 specifically, the security agency shall have a Class "B" license and any security officer shall possess a Class "D" license. The security agency shall also carry insurance in accordance with Florida Statute 493.6110 and provide proof thereof, naming the City of Panama City as an additional insured. D. The security guard on duty must carry a cell phone and be capable of responding promptly to any call received. All costs for this service shall be borne by the Contractor. This number must be provided to the Downtown North CRA Program Manager, who will be notified immediately of any changes. E. All security guards shall refrain from conduct that is illegal and/or unethical. Guards on duty are expected to exercise good and sound judgement when dealing with the public and employees working in the facilities at all times. Any guards discovered to be engaging in illegal and/or unethical conduct or exercising poor judgement, in any way, while on the job shall be asked to leave the premises immediately.
