The services required by HCSO encompass, but are not limited to, the following: 2.3.1 Maintenance, Repair, and Replacement of HVAC or HVAC-R Systems. 2.3.1.1 The bidder is responsible for maintaining, repairing, or replacing as needed HVAC or HVAC-R equipment and controls, including but not limited to air handling units, compressors, condensers, thermostats, and control systems. 2.3.2 Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Services 2.3.2.1 The bidder shall perform Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) on as needed HVAC or HVAC-R equipment to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency in line with design specifications and operational requirements. 2.3.3 Preventive Maintenance Services 2.3.3.1 The bidder must provide preventive maintenance services to extend the lifespan of HVAC or HVAC-R systems and minimize unexpected breakdowns. 2.3.3.2 Maintenance schedules must align with manufacturers' recommendations and industry’s best practices. 2.3.4 A/C Duct Cleaning and Sanitizing Services 2.3.4.1 The bidder shall offer duct cleaning and sanitizing services to enhance indoor air quality. This includes removing dust, debris, and potential contaminants, as well as applying sanitizing agents as needed. 2.3.5 Insulation Services 2.3.5.1 The bidder must provide insulation services, including the installation and repair of duct and system insulation, to ensure energy efficiency and proper system performance in line with industry standards. 2.3.6 Equipment Rental Services 2.3.6.1 The bidder shall offer equipment rental services for HVAC or HVAC-R maintenance, repair, and replacement on a cost-plus basis, adhering to the terms agreed upon in the bid.
