The City of Winter Park is seeking bids for HVAC Installation, Repair & Replacement and is open to all parties that meet the requirements of this solicitation. 3.1. Requirements & Standards In an effort to maintain consistency throughout our properties, the City has a preference for Trane, Carrier, Daikin, LG and Mitsubishi. The Successful Respondent(s) shall be authorized to provide warranty work, service, and the ability to obtain parts and supplies for at least two (2) of these manufacturers. Successful Respondent(s) will furnish all labor and tools necessary for installation, repair, maintenance, and/or replacement of HVAC equipment on a 24-hour basis seven (7) days a week. Time and material pricing, as it may be specified in this IFB, shall be on an hourly basis plus the cost of materials. The cost per hour shall be a non-overtime rate from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and an overtime rate from 5:00 pm to 7:00 am Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. Travel time will not be considered in the calculation of elapsed time. For emergency repairs, response time shall not exceed two (2) hours from the time the call is placed unless otherwise stipulated by the City. In the case the Successful Respondent does not respond to the City's request for service in a timely manner, as established in this IFB, the City's representative will contact the next Successful Respondent. Successful Respondent(s) shall be responsible for the removal and/or repair of all existing equipment, the installation of all new equipment, and the testing of all repaired and/or replaced equipment to ensure proper system functionality. Successful Respondent(s) shall also be responsible for the supply of all equipment required in the repair and/or replacement of the system. Equipment may include but not be limited to: • Air conditioner, 1.5 - 5 ton, minimum 15 SEER • Heat Pump, 1.5 - 5 ton, minimum 15 SEER • OAU up to 20 ton 6 • Roof top units up to 20 ton, minimum 15 SEER • Mini split units • Single speed air handlers • Variable speed air handlers • Appropriate heat strips • Hurricane pads • Thermostats • Line sets
