Alachua County is seeking a qualified contractor to perform guardrail repairs across multiple roadways, addressing damages caused by recent hurricanes. This project aims to restore safety and structural integrity to the impacted areas by ensuring all guardrail installations and replacements adhere to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) safety standards. The selected contractor must be FDOT-qualified and capable of executing repairs in accordance with state specifications. Work will be conducted across various locations throughout the county, with a focus on ensuring compliance with current safety guidelines and durability requirements. The bidder will be responsible for furnishing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment required for the completion of this project. This includes, but is not limited to, the procurement and delivery of guardrail components, posts, end treatments, and other associated hardware. Prices must include all labor, materials, and shipping necessary to bring each requested guardrail location up to FDOT Safety Standards. An estimated time to complete all location must be provided.
