Specifications include, but are not limited to: Exterior Inspections 1.6.1 Perform an onsite visual inspection and evaluation of the exterior of each tank. 1.6.2 Exterior tank wall and footer inspection shall include, but may not be limited to: 1.6.2.1 Check for cracks, hollows, efflorescence, and wet spots; 1.6.2.2 Check for spalled concrete, exposed prestressed wires, and signs of corrosion; 1.6.2.3 Check each ladder’s bolts, rungs, risers, wall brackets, welds, cage, and door; 1.6.2.4 Check each manhole’s bolts, frame, and gasket, and; 1.6.2.5 Where footer is exposed, check for dips, damp spots, bearing and/or joint filler pads, and gaps between wall and footer or between wall and subgrade. 1.6.3 Exterior tank done inspection shall include, but may not be limited to: 1.6.3.1 Check for cracks, hollows, efflorescence, and wet spots; 1.6.3.2 Check for spalled concrete and signs of corrosion; 1.6.3.3 Check each hatch curb, cover, bolts, and mechanics; 1.6.3.4 Check each vent curb, cover, screen, and caulking; 1.6.3.5 Check each overflow screen and caulking; and 1.6.3.6 Check all handrail connections, welds, bolts, brackets, rails and connections including welds, and fasteners
