5.1. Grant Writing and Grant Management Services The City of Stuart seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide professional Grant Writing and Grant Management Services. Qualified firms shall have experience in grant writing and submission experience with State and Federal grants that support the City's funding needs and priorities. 5.2. Grant Opportunity Development Meet with City staff to identify grant funding needs and priorities; develop an overall strategy for identifying and securing grant funding. Update and maintain ongoing project needs list. A. Identify and prioritize City projects in need of grants/funding B. Identify grant/funding sources and opportunities C. Prepare grant/funding applications D. Assist in preparing a long-range grant/funding application program E. Provide monthly reports to the City summarizing the amount of time expended, describe activities undertaken during previous month, and status of those activities. 5.3. Grant Funding Research Services Conduct ongoing research to identify appropriate grantors and grant programs including, but not limited to, federal, state, and regional government organizations and private foundations and businesses to support the City’s funding needs and priorities, including: • Public Safety • Public Works and Utilities • Parks and Recreation • Economic Development • Community Development
