The purpose of this solicitation is to announce the intent of The School Board of Orange County, Florida (OCPS) to enter into a sole source contract for the rental of facilities for graduation ceremonies. The decision is based on the unique capabilities and qualifications of the vendors that make them the only source capable of meeting the schools’ requirements. Class sizes range from 350 to 1200 and venue spaces could require space for up to 12,000 guests. Amenities include but are not limited to: lighting, use of projection screens, tables, chairs, audio equipment, flowers, balloons, parking, food, and security. Approximately 25 ceremonies in total between the High School Graduation Ceremonies, Orange County Florida Virtual’s Graduation Ceremony, and the Career and Technical Education College’s Graduation Ceremonies.
