The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and supervision necessary to reconstruct/install two (2) Gateway Entry Signs on US-27 at the northern and southern boundaries of the City. There are currently two (2) signs in place, and we’d like to reconstruct the signs in the same location utilizing a design that has been chosen by the community. Pictures of the current signs are attached in Exhibit A, and the requested look for the sign we’re requesting is Exhibit B. The requested design should incorporate stainless steel or aluminum lettering that provides a 3D effect for a clean finish that can withstand outdoor elements. Scope-of-Work • Submit and obtain a “no-cost” Right-of-Way Permit from Public Works • Remove and dispose of existing sheet metal from structure. • Construct sign per submitted and approved design • Paint as necessary (if part of design) • Affix logo, letters, and numbers to sign • Dispose of all materials at the contractor’s expense as part of the bid Electrical • There is no electrical work as part of this bid. Electrical and lighting will be handled by the City. Plumbing • There is no plumbing work as part of this bid. Irrigation will be handled by the City. Landscaping • There is no landscaping as part of this bid. Landscaping will be handled by the City. Please minimize disruption to existing turf during the project.
