Specifications include, but are not limited to: The sole purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to secure firm fixed pricing and establish term contract for grounds maintenance services at nineteen (19) Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Facilities. SUMMER HOURS- May until the Monday preceding Thanksgiving (Monday thru Friday ONLY, NO weekend or holiday work is permitted). 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. ONLY QUIET WORK may start at 8:00 a.m. WINTER HOURS- Beginning the Monday preceding Thanksgiving thru April 30 (Monday thru Friday ONLY, NO weekend or holiday work is permitted). 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. All pools shall be serviced on Monday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. All neighborhood parks shall be serviced Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. All other sites, excluding waterparks & R.G. Kreusler Park shall be serviced on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. All waterparks shall be serviced on Mondays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. utilizing the thirty (30) services schedule (Attachment B). *ONLY QUIET WORK may start at 7:00 a.m. All service work shall be performed effectively and in a professional manner. Work shall be achieved with due diligence to accomplish desired outcomes (e.g.herbicidesprayingshall killweeds,blowingshallremovealldebris,etc.).Successfulvendor shall take in consideration all internal and external factors that may affect the outcome of work and schedule accordingly. This shall include, rescheduling of a service, or portions of, due to weather, public events, or any other natural or man-made circumstances that could potentially cause a lapse in service being successfully performed.
