The sole purpose and intent of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to secure firm fixed pricing and establish a term contract for the purchase of Driving Range Golf Balls for he County’s Parks and Recreation golf courses. All items shall meet or exceed all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, as well as all industry and safety standards. Equivalent items shall meet the specifications of the stated brand name, as well as the salient characteristics specified herein. Driving range golf balls offered shall be Marathon Yellow Premium Range, or equal. Equivalents shall be similar in design, construction and performance and shall meet or exceed the specifications of the stated brand name and model as well as the salient characteristics noted below: Brand Name: Marathon, manufactured by Srixon, or equal • Yellow with black stripes; • Two (2) piece construction with surlyn ionomer cover; • The word “Range” shall be printed on each ball; and • Golf Ball Compression: 85 • Cover Hardness “Shore D”: 60 • Each golf ball shall be coated multiple times for durability.
