1. The Consultant will be requested to develop Geographic Information System (GIS) and database applications utilizing the planning office's software (ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS 10.x, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, MS SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, Visual Basic.Net, HTML5, JavaScript, Python, etc) The Consultant should have strong programming knowledge and familiarity with current GIS internet application development tools related to web services development and relational database modeling. 2. Development of GIS updating tools to be used to maintain existing or newly created GIS layers that can be implemented either singly or as an extension to GIS. 3. Development of data transfer tools to be used to communicate updates between the GIS and various Oracle-based / SQL database management systems which can include ESRI Geodatabases. 4. Development of Internet Applications and Tools 5. Documentation of Applications and Tools. 6. Training for Applications, Products and Tools 7. Routine system administration – ISD will require system administration services specific to the GIS software, hardware, and databases at District 1. These services will be performed in close coordination with existing OIT technical staff.
