Weekly Fountain Maintenance - (1 time per week) inspection and maintenance of fountains and water features. a. Clean pump intake screens/filters. b. Clean and align water jet features. c. Remove any floating debris or algae from fountain and basin. d. Scrub, wipe or clean visible tile surfaces of algae and/or calcium build-up. e. Clean filters (or replace at materials cost) as needed on re-circulating pump(s) and clean skimmers of debris. f. Test water and, as needed, treat with chemicals (included in cost) to maintain proper balance and chlorine content. g. Inspect all visible valves, pumps, chemical injection systems and plumbing. Perform adjustments as necessary. h. Check and clean light fixtures, check alignment, replace lights as necessary, lenses and gaskets. i. Check timing and light controls and set timers as needed. j. Check the operation of refill sensor(s) and refill valve(s). Make sure refill valves are not stuck open. k. Inspect the general site for any leaks or abnormal issues relating to the fountain. I. Clean pump vault(s) and sump area of debris as necessary. m. Check blower fan located in pump vault(s) for proper operation. n. Repairs shall be at an additional cost per hour labor, as detailed in Appendix A, plus materials (materials provided at wholesale cost plus 15% for overhead). Quotes, either verbal or in writing, must be provided before additional work is authorized. o. All replacement parts shall be of commercial quality and of equal specification as the original equipment. Warranties on equipment and replacement parts shall be honored by the Service Provider.
