Landscaping contractor to provide all labor, equipment and material necessary to perform landscaping repairs to residential and/or community yards damaged due utility work. The scope of service includes, but not limited to the following: 1) Site Preparation and Clean up a. Remove debris, dead/damaged vegetation, and unsuitable soil. b. Grade and prepare soil to ensure proper drainage and a level surface prior to installation. 2) Sod Installation a. Supply and install high-quality sod. b. Ensure sod is laid evenly, tightly fitted, and properly watered at installation. c. Provide a short-term watering and maintenance schedule to ensure establishment. 3) Tree & Shrub Planting a. Supply and install healthy, nursery grade trees and shrubs in designated area. b. Plant in accordance with industry best practice, ensuring proper depth, spacing, and soil amendment. c. Stake trees as necessary to ensure stability during establishment. 4) Bushes and Ground Cover a. Supply and install selected bushes and/or ground cover to restore landscaping areas. b. Mulch around plantings to conserve moisture and improve aesthetics. 5) Final Inspection & Warranty a. Conduct a walkthrough with owner/representative upon completion. b. Replace any plant material that fails to establish within the warranty period, 90 days. 6) No Pesticides allowed on Fort Myers Beach. For weed killer, only Vinegar is allowed.
