The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and supervision necessary to remodel one (1) existing bathroom within the Fire Station into two (2) fully functional bathrooms designed for firefighter use. Each new bathroom shall include: Toilet Sink with vanity Shower with durable waterproof enclosure Changing area with bench and gear hooks The bathrooms must be designed for high-frequency use, quick cleaning, and long-term durability. All work shall comply with federal, state, and local building codes, plumbing codes, electrical codes, NFPA fire station design considerations, and City regulations. Demolition and Preparation Remove existing fixtures, partitions, flooring, and finishes as required. Disconnect and cap existing plumbing/electrical connections until new systems are installed. Prepare subfloors and walls for new waterproof finishes. Properly remove and dispose of debris off-site in compliance with City and environmental regulations. Temporary Facilities The Contractor shall provide and maintain a portable shower trailer with sufficient shower units to accommodate firefighters during the construction period. The trailer must include hot and cold running water, adequate lighting, privacy partitions, and be kept in clean, sanitary condition at all times. The Contractor shall be responsible for delivery, setup, utility connections, regular servicing, and removal of the trailer upon completion of the project. The location of the shower trailer on site shall be coordinated with the Fire Department.
