CIS operates the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC), which is designated by the Department of Homeland Security as the key resource for cyber threat prevention, protection, response, and recovery for the nation's state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) government entities. Through its state of the art 24/7/365 cybersecurity operations Center, CIS serves as a central resource for situational awareness incident response for SLTT government and offers several strategic cybersecurity services to assist in detecting, protecting, and responding to and recovering from cyber threats.
