The Project, including mobilization and demobilization, consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,019 linear feet of 8-inch PVC C900 DR18 pipe and zinc-coated ductile iron fittings for sewage force main; five (5) plug valves; mechanical joint restraints; making one (1) tapping connection to an existing sewage force main including furnishing and installing a tapping sleeve (stainless steel) and tapping valve; making two (2) cut-in connections to existing sewage force mains; furnishing and constructing automatic air release valve assemblies for sewage force mains; polyethylene encasement for ductile iron fittings, valves and restrainment; sheeting and shoring ordered left in place by the Engineer; additional suitable backfill, if needed; furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for cleaning and testing the sewage force mains; obtaining the services of a tapping specialist; cutting, dewatering, grouting, plugging, and capping existing main(s) that are to be placed out of service; removal, salvage, cleaning, transport, unloading and storage of valve boxes and covers, manhole frames and covers, and castings, on existing mains that are to be placed out of service; removal of existing asphalt pavement, pavers, driveways, curb and gutter, sidewalk, landscaping and sod; removal, transport, salvage, and legal disposal of demolition material; replacement of traffic loop detection assemblies; traffic control; temporary and permanent replacement of any pavement, pavers, driveways, sidewalk, concrete median, curb and gutter, sod, landscaping and pavement markings damaged by the construction of the Project and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work necessary for a complete, fully functional, and satisfactory installation. The Project is located in Section 05, Township 55 South, Range 42 East, Village of Key Biscayne, Miami-Dade County, Florida.
