Specifications include, but are not limited to: The awarded Contractor(s) shall be part of an exclusive list of providers of Event Security Staffing Services for shows and events held at the OCCC. Only those firms awarded a contract through Orange County’s formal solicitation process will be permitted to provide event security staffing services for clients holding their events at the OCCC, unless otherwise specifically approved by Orange County through authorized procurement procedures. For most events, the client (show management) is responsible to retain one of the awarded Event Security Providers (“ESP” hereafter) to provide security and staffing services for their given event. The ESP will have knowledge of OCCC event security policies and protocols and will engage directly with the client (show management), in determining specific roles and responsibilities for an event that shall include but not be limited to, crowd management, access control, personnel identification, and providing directional assistance to exhibitors and attendees.
