Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Contractor must use a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services M or MB licensed Manager to provide on-site supervision of events and oversee the provision of services. b. Contractor must ensure that all Security personnel be classified as Class D and Class G security officers (at a minimum) and should have a minimum of two years’ experience in special events security. c. Contractor must ensure that all Security personnel wear dress uniforms. Uniforms must be consistent with generally accepted security apparel and ensure that the personnel are easily identifiable as security officers. All uniforms for Security personnel must be identical. The dress uniform shall consist of shirts and dress pants. The shirts must display the private company name and the name of the personnel. Dress uniform may include a cap and a jacket. If caps are provided, all caps must by identical. Blue jeans, polo shorts or tee shirts are not acceptable. d. Contractor must provide all Security personnel and the City Incident Commander with radios with ear pieces. Contractor must also ensure that each supervisor can contact each Security personnel via cell phone as a backup means of communicating. e. Contractor must provide Security personnel to conduct bag checks for all attendees as described on the Event Security Plan schedule. Contractor must provide a weapon wand and bag check stick for each exterior gate. f. Contractor must ensure that the Security personnel work schedule follows the standards set forth by the Department of Labor.
