The Project consists of the demolition of the existing Community Center building, and the construction of a new two-story facility of approximately 10,000 square feet. The new center shall include various amenities such as an administration office, reception area, warming kitchen, multi-purpose room, workrooms, elevator, restrooms, Information Technology (IT) room, sports equipment storage, and various security features. The project also includes landscaping and irrigation, an electrical power generator, and a parking area. During construction, a temporary facility including bathroom trailer & office container shall be provided for the City’s staff. The site has known contamination, and the Contractor is required to ensure that workers are informed about safety precautions.
