This term-bid is established to service, repair, replace, install and update Energy Management Systems (EMS) / Building Automation Systems (BAS). Request for quotes will be issued to awarded vendors as per Section 5.2 Method of Award, and at that time a manufacturer’s catalog discount rate may be requested for supplies and equipment. These EMS/BAS manufacturers include, but are not limited to: Trane Johnson Controls, Delta, Schneider, Alerton and Siemens. Additionally, call center service support is needed to optimize, adjust temperatures and schedules, diagnose HVAC and EMS/BAS systems as well as dispatch local qualified resources to District locations in order to make repairs. This bid shall also provide a vehicle, whereas Miami-Dade County Public Schools may acquire EMS/BAS supplies, equipment and parts at discounted rates from approved manufacturers and suppliers as mentioned above, during the RFQ process, upon award. Vendors may also be required to provide labor and parts for spot repairs on a time and materials basis. Vendor(s) shall also be required to perform all associated and incidental work, including, but not limited to, update, repair/replacement/version upgrades of associated software, and incidental electrical and wiring work.
