A. TIRE AND ON-ROAD SERVICE The Vendor shall review the conditions of the tire(s), and determine if the flat tire is serviceable or unserviceable, following these protocols: 1. If serviceable, the tire will be repaired and reinstalled on the vehicle at the roadside. 2. If unserviceable the spare tire, if available, shall be installed. 3. If no spare tire is available, the vehicle will be towed to the Automotive Shop that will be determined before services are provided. The minimum payment for Tire and On-Road Services shall be for one (1) hour. Payment for Tire and On-Road Services in excess of one (1) hour will be made in quarter (0.25) hour increments. B. EXTRICATION AND WINCHING SERVICES The Vendor shall provide services for Extrication/Winching to restore the Department vehicle to a drivable position and location. If the vehicle cannot be extricated/winched, the Vendor shall contact the Department’s Project Manager telephonically for instructions C. TOWING SERVICES The Vendor shall provide towing services for all Department vehicles and Department personnel shall be transported with the vehicle. Towing Services include the following: 1. Determine if Department vehicle can be started, and, if it can be started, determine if the Department vehicle can be driven safely by Department personnel. 2. If the vehicle cannot be started or driven safely, the vehicle will be towed to the Automotive Shop that will be determined before services are provided.
