Specifications include, but are not limited to: School Board of Broward County, Florida (hereinafter referred to as “SBBC”) desires bids from qualified proposers for Electronic Door Access Control Installation and Repair Services. See Section 5 – Scope of Work and Performance specifications for more scope details. “Electronic Door Access Control” includes, but is not limited to, electronic locks, card readers, keyless entry systems, gate and door hardware, intercom/video phones, key cards, access control management software and electronic security training. Service calls may involve the repair of door hardware, latches, magnetic strips, crash-bars, and other related items. SBBC currently utilizes AMAG Symmetry V8.1 SP1 (currently controlling 178 doors) and Avigilon Access Control Manager 6.2 (currently controlling 308 doors) as its primary access control solutions. Awardee must be certified and have in-depth knowledge in troubleshooting hardware and software-related issues and installing new doors within either AMAG and/or Avigilon systems to qualify for this award. The Awardee(s) of this solicitation will install, maintain, and make necessary corrective action of electronic door access control equipment and software.
