1.02 SCOPE Successful Bidder (hereinafter in this Scope referred to as “Contractor”) shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, supplies, licensing, transportation, and other components necessary to provide a rental/retainer for a 1250 KW portable diesel generator that will meet the requirements of the Agreement. 1.03 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Contractor shall provide the following requirements: A. Deliver the generator, on an as-needed basis, to Nolan Middle School, 6615 Greenbrook Blvd., Bradenton FL. B. Deliver all components within eight (8) hours of notification by the County in the event of the Special Needs Shelter being activated. C. Provide the County with a 24/7 emergency contact number for notifying the Contractor when activation of the shelter and delivery of the generator set are required. D. Submit monthly invoices for the rental/retainage and for any chargeable activity requested by the County. E. Maintain the generator and all associated equipment in a ready state for immediate response during the rental/retainage period (June 1 through November 30) of each hurricane season. F. Ensure that the generator remains operational while under retainage at the Contractor’s site, by performing periodic startup and full systems check at least once a month. G. Be responsible for reserving the generator and all associated equipment in a secure location during each year’s retainage period/hurricane season. H. Deliver, set-up and pick up the generator set at the time of any County required activity. 1.04 SERVICE REQUIREMENTS Contractor services shall include but not be limited to: A. Reserve, store and deliver, on an “as-needed” basis, one (1) trailer mounted 1250 KW diesel generator set with a 1,250-gallon on-board fuel tank. Fuel tank must have at least 200 gallons at time of delivery. B. Provide with the generator a Main Circuit Breaker, 480 volts, 3 Phase. C. The generator must have a sound attenuated weatherproof enclosure. D. 50-foot sections of 4/0 power cable (5 Phase, 5 Neutral, 1 Ground). E. Two (2) 2,500-gallon double wall skid mounted fuel tanks, with a battery powered hand pump. These tanks shall be delivered empty. F.
