SCOPE OF WORK Electrical services, maintenance and repair shall include, but not be limited to: 1. Installation or relocating existing electrical fixtures, wall receptacles, switches, etc. 2. Repair/install circuits, panels, circuit breakers, main switch gear, motor controllers, and other related equipment as necessary. 3. Servicing and repairing circuits and receptacles that are located up to a height of 40’, requiring the need of a bucket truck for outside repairs. Working inside buildings with high ceilings will require a scissor lift to 25’. Specialty equipment is later defined herein. 4. Trouble shoot and repair damaged circuits, service connections, main disconnects and emergency power panels as necessary. 5. Inspect/torque lugs. 6. Preventative maintenance and testing, emergency restoration and repair/replacement (like for like) of parts and components. COUNTY’S RESPONSIBILITIES The County shall: 1. Provide access to work areas and equipment to allow the successful bidder to fully perform the services as requested. 2. Reserve the right to require the removal of any of the successful bidder’s employees from performing the service, if in the County’s judgment, such removal is necessary to protect the County’s interest. 3. Order repairs on an as-needed basis. 4. Notify the successful bidder to meet at a designated site to provide a good faith estimate for work to be accomplished, if requested. If the work is scheduled to be performed, the bidder shall not be compensated for providing the estimate. If the County does not move forward with the service request, the bidder shall be compensated a minimum of one (1) hour (additional hours if the estimate/diagnostics takes longer than one hour at the standard rate for technician). 5. Reserve the right to utilize an electric service pre-qualification contract for additional maintenance and repair services if County staff is not available to provide oversight for verification of hours spent at the site, and as provided for under the contract. 6. Cover the cost for all permit fees, if required. 7. Inspect the service upon completion of work, unless prior arrangements are made with the successful bidder to ensure that the work is acceptable.
