Specifications include, but are not limited to: The St. Johns County School District is requesting proposals from qualified service providers (“Service Providers”) for Layer 3 fully managed fiber services for delivery of Wide Area Network. Proposers may submit Layer 3 fully managed leased lit fiber proposals and/or Layer 3 fully managed leased dark fiber proposals. All proposals must include Category 1 equipment required to increase broadband connectivity for the school district in compliance with the requirements of the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) and the School and Library E-Rate program. The new service is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2024, which represents the beginning of the E-Rate Funding Year 2024.
