Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Winter Park is seeking proposals from a qualified contractor, licensed in the State of Florida, to provide labor, machinery, and materials to install twenty-four (24) provided drop-down safety bollards on Park Avenue at two (2) locations on Park Avenue: Canton Avenue to the North and Lyman Avenue to the South. Contractor must provide a means to securely and temporarily close the street as needed for City Events. The project is to be done in four (4) phases, two (2) at each of the proposed intersections. All excavation is to be done with a Winter Park vacuum truck or hand excavation. Installation as per instructions provided and attached as Attachment C - Lyman & Canton at Park Bollards Plan. The Contractor is responsible for all planning and permitting for the project. The Contractor must also: • Utilize 5000psi high-strength (or similar) concrete. • Install gravel at the base of bollards. • Remove and reset street brick pavers as needed. • Pick-up and deliver bollards from municipal storage yard. Any cost associated with the above requirements, as well as any costs associated with the hauling and dumping of all removed materials and any night-time work, must be included in the bid price.
