The CONSULTANT may be required to perform any of the following services: 1. Program Development 1.1. Research 1.1.1. Research any aspect of TSM&O, including but not limited to, managed lanes (express lanes), warning gate systems, ramp signaling, adaptive signal control, traffic signals, wrong way driving, integrated corridor management, connected and autonomous vehicles, among others. 1.1.2. Research TSM&O applications best practices along freeways and arterials. 1.2. Analysis 1.2.1. Perform benefit/cost analysis. 1.2.2. Perform life-cycle cost analysis. 1.2.3. Perform value engineering analysis. 1.2.4. Provide miscellaneous engineering analyses including special studies and economic advisory/analytical services. 1.3. Engineering Studies 1.3.1. Prepare feasibility studies in support of the TSM&O Program. 1.3.2. Prepare formal concept studies in support of the TSM&O Program. 1.3.3. Evaluate the existing TSM&O resource levels and provide recommendations to ensure that the TSM&O Program supports the Department's mission effectively. 1.3.4. Evaluate the existing TSM&O Program emergency procedures and preparations, including the latest version of the TSM&O Program Hurricane Response Action Plan (HRAP) and provide recommendations to ensure high systems availability and minimum disruption to operations...
