A. For a worksite less than an acre, mow vegetation to a height of three inches or less, using standard type mowing equipment and in a manner typical of a city residential lot mowing. This includes weed eating around all trees, shrubs, fences, buildings, and removal of trash and litter. B. For a worksite greater than an acre, mow vegetation to a height of four inches or less for open fields, unless otherwise directed by the Contract Manager. C. Bush hogging (brush chopping) shall include but not limited to clearing of all plants, shrubs, hedges, and any other plant material from the site. D. Tree removal, including stumps, shall include all invasive species and noninvasive species. E. Mulching is on a per acre basis with a minimum of one acre. Mulching debris may be left on site provided it is spread out. F. Clear, remove, and dispose of trash, rubble and debris that is on the work site surface or partially buried. G. The spraying of herbicide shall be performed when the ground is dry. H. Cleaning of waterways includes mowing or weed eating along the edges of canals, ponds, waterways, etc. I. Remove and dispose of tires, hazardous material (including human waste), batteries, propane tanks, etc. from the work site. J. Bee removal shall include the non-lethal removal of a honeybee or bumble bee colony.
