Specifications include, but are not limited to: Class I Landfill permitted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. • Landfill maintained in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and laws. • Ability to meet County insurance requirements, including maintaining pollution liability. • Ability to begin service within thirty (30) days of contract execution • Ability to weigh-in, accept, and unload a single load of MSW contained in a walking floor transfer trailer arriving at the disposal facility in a daily average of one hour or less. • Minimum operating hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Weekend hours by mutual agreement. • No work necessary on Holidays of Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. • Ability to accept walking-floor trailers or to tip trailers not able to self-unload. • Ability to accommodate the Defined Quantity described in this bid. • Ability to begin accepting MSW within 30 days of contract execution. • Facility must have state-certified scales and maintain certification during term of this Contract. • Ability to maintain electronic scale records and to provide electronic scale reports on a routine basis, (with ability to respond within 24 hours of request if requested by the County from time to time).
