The selected vendor will be required to deliver Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) for Escambia County, covering the following two configurations: 1. Full Hot Site DRaaS Solution o A full hot site will offer a real-time, fully operational replica of critical IT infrastructure and services in a cloud-based environment. o The hot site must allow for instant or near-instant failover in the event of a disaster, ensuring continuity of essential county services with minimal disruption. o It should include regular testing, maintenance, and updates to ensure readiness in case of an actual disaster. o Data replication must occur continuously, or in near-real-time, to maintain up-to-date backups of all critical systems and data. 2. Hybrid Hot/Warm Site DRaaS Solution o A hybrid solution must combine aspects of both a hot site and a warm site, allowing the county to prioritize critical services for immediate recovery while offering a cost-effective approach for less critical systems.
