Provide Architectural and Engineering Services for the design and construction of a Sheriff’s Sector V Office Building of approximately 20,000 gross square feet. The facility will contain a public receiving lobby, administration offices and open workstation areas, exercise/shower space, associated/related agency spaces, storage spaces, public restrooms, sitework, parking, and a large assembly space for deputy squad briefings and general meeting space as identified . The design shall: • Consider current and new technologies. • Consider and implement Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design strategies. • Consider and implement economical Sustainable Design and other environmentally friendly strategies as identified in the Orange County Sustainable Operations Resilience Action Plan 2021. • Plan for the future for both facility use and the evolution of the technology, as well as developing the central energy plant and/or equipment rooms in a manner that allows the equipment to be removed and replaced without adversely affecting the integrity of the protective cage that surrounds it, as well as having additional space within it for future equipment to be added as necessary...
