Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to interested firms for the purpose of selecting two (2) experienced and qualified Architect/Engineers (“ARCHITECT”, “A/E” or “CONTRACTOR”) to provide architectural and engineering services for the following schools: A. Loretto Elementary School, 3900 Loretto Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223 - An expansion addition to eliminate portables and renovations to correct prioritized deferred maintenance deficiencies and improve the general circulation, flow, and activation of the campus. The selected designer is to provide the best practices and skills, that will support DCPS Facilities with evaluating the needs and prioritize the work to achieve the highest and greatest project outcome. The design and construction for the project will be fast-tracked with final construction completion no later than June 2025. B. Westside Middle School, 4815 Wesconnett Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210 - An expansion addition to the kitchen and cafeteria, corrects prioritized deferred maintenance deficiencies, and to improve the general circulation, flow, and activation of the campus. The selected designer is to provide the best practices and skills, that will support DCPS Facilities with evaluating the needs and prioritize the work to achieve the highest and greatest project outcome. The design and construction for the project will be fast-tracked with final construction completion no later than June 2025. Two (2) A/E Firms will be selected based on scoring and negotiations (See Article 6.2). The specified services shall include all types and manner of professional services related to, but not limited to complete and efficient architectural design services, school campus planning, landscape architecture, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical engineering, fire protection, safety and security systems, fencing, lighting, irrigation and plumbing, construction administration, estimating, and interior design and services during construction. The drawings, plans and specifications are subject for reuse in accordance with the provisions F.S. 287.055 (10) or F.S. 1013.01
