Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a sole source procurement to DXP Enterprises, Inc., for proprietary equipment, parts, and maintenance for various systems used at water, reclaimed, and wastewater facilities throughout the County for the Water Resources Department, for a five (5) year period, at an estimated cost of $6,600,000.00. The proprietary equipment, parts, and maintenance are only available through Carter & VerPlanck, Environmental MD, and Florida Valve and Equipment, all are a DXP Enterprises, Inc., company, which are the sole and exclusive authorized reseller for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of equipment, parts, maintenance and warranties for Neuros, Charlatte of America, Inc., Continental Blower, LLC., Flowserve, Hidrostal LLC, Invent Environmental Technologies, Inc., JDV Equipment Corp., Kinetrol USA, Plas-Tanks Industries, Inc., Proco Products, Inc., Wilo USA LLC, and Val-Matic Valve and Manufacturing Corp. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-205(2)(e) of the County’s Procurement Policy as the proprietary OEM equipment, parts, maintenance and warranties are being provided by the OEM authorized reseller as part of an existing integrated water system and are exclusively sold and only reasonably available through DXP Enterprises, Inc.
