Veterinary care for farm animals housed at Amelia Earhart Park: 3 Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pigs; 24 mixed breed goats; 3 ponies. Preventative veterinary services included in the hourly rate shall include the following, but not limited to: • Physical exams • Obtaining samples for laboratory diagnostics • Applying medical treatments • Surgical procedures • Herd health and husbandry consultations • Employee training • Foot trimming for goats and pigs • Tusk trimming for pigs The following basic laboratory diagnostics for all species shall be as follows: • Annual Fecal Flotation • Complete Blood Count (as needed) • Serum Chemistry Profile (as needed) Horse Health Maintenance to include (pricing to be submitted for each item – outside of preventative care): • Coggins Test for Equine Infectious Anemia – vendor shall include cost of shipping in unit price. Blood samples collected for this service shall be sent to a lab. This will be ordered on an as-needed basis. • Prestige 5 with WNV Vaccine – to be provided biannually and will cover tetanus as well as all mosquito-borne encephalitis viruses. • Prestige 3 with WNV Vaccine – to be provided biannually and will cover tetanus as well as all mosquito-borne encephalitis viruses. • Rabies Vaccine – to be provided annually • Quest Plus/Safeguard Dewormers – to be provided biannually • Equine Geriatric Horse Diagnostic Panel – will be ordered on an as-needed basis. Any associated shipping costs shall be included in the unit price. The panel includes routine diagnostics such as fecal flotation and Coggins test, but also includes a complete blood count, a serum chemistry profile, and all of the hormone testing necessary to screen for Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction, commonly called Equine Cushings. Goat Health Maintenance to include (pricing to be submitted for each item – outside of preventative care): • CDT Vaccine – to be provided annually • Rabies Vaccine – will be ordered as needed • Levamed Dewormer – will be ordered as needed Pig Health Maintenance to include (pricing to be submitted for each item – outside of preventative care): • Rabies Vaccine – will be ordered as needed • BAM Sedative and Reversal – will be ordered as needed. Pricing will be determined based on 100lbs of weight.
