The Vendor will provide any of the following elements as required by the Department and other regulatory agencies to areas that encompasses the transportation system, Department maintained properties including maintenance/rail yards, the environment, land, waters of the State of Florida or for situations deemed necessary by the Department on State roadways. District Four (D4) includes or encompasses the five counties (Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties), the South Florida Rail Corridor in Miami-Dade County and counties adjacent to D4 where D4 is the lead District. The required work will vary and may include, but not be limited to: a. During a third-party roadway emergency spill situation any other emergency situation, the Vendor must be on-site ready to begin containment and/or clean-up activities within 1.5-hrs of verbal notice and/or written. b. In the event of an emergency the Department may request the Vendor to provide designated services outside of the D4 limits. Prices shall be based on the rates in Exhibit “C”, Price Proposal; however, additional compensation shall be made as appropriate for travel and transportation.
