McClure Center (FSDB Building #22) hosts areas for instructional services, technology services and training spaces. The new b uilding will be located on the existing baseball field. A new parking lot will also need to be designed and constructed for the occ upants of the building on the existing tennis courts. The original McClure building, with an area of 13,040 sq. ft., will need to be demoli shed after the new building is occupied. The demolition will include the building itself, foundation, exterior elevator and walkway canopy connections. Approximately 104 feet of the existing walkway canopy connection will be removed in order to facilitate access to the demolition site. This walkway section will not be replaced; the walkway ends remaining will be capped off. Following the demolition, FSDB would like to incorporate as many elements as possible into the new outdoor instructional space, such as turf grass, landscaping, lighting, walkways and picnic tables.
