The purpose of this contract is to provide a current, accurate and reliable set of traffic count statistics for District 7. The Consultant shall assist the District Planning Staff in collecting traffic data, reviewing collected data for accuracy and consistency, and providing that data to in-house departments, local governments and the general public. In addition, the Consultant will assist the Department in maintaining a comprehensive and functional set of traffic count stations for collecting traffic data. This will include performing inspections of traffic count stations and equipment, making necessary repairs to existing sites. This will also include assisting the Department in maintaining lists of traffic count data and traffic count stations for analysis and reporting of the data.
