Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant will assist the Trust by facilitating a strategic planning processinvolving the Trust board, staff, cultural partners and key stakeholders. The Consultantwill lead discussions to explore, consider new or confirm existing aspects of the Trust:vision, mission, core values, fund development goals and strategies, revenue mechanisms,grantmaking strategies and methods of marking progress.The Consultant will analyze the financial feasibility (including necessary staffing) ofthe various options and assess the capability of each one as to its ability to sustain andaugment the Trust financially.In order to build on the successes of the Trust's work to date and develop strategies toovercome existing challenges, the Consultant will conduct an evaluation of the Trust'sfund development and grantmaking, reviewing:1. The effectiveness of its grant strategies and the results of the grantmaking tocultural organizations in Oregon;2. The degree to which fund development and accomplishments are effectivelyorganized, orchestrated, and benchmarked;3. The degree to which funding mechanisms have realized actual revenue and theirpotential to be increased or augmented; and4. The degree to which the Trust has increased cultural participation in Oregon.
