The City of Lauderhill is seeking Letters of Interest from qualified event promoters to organize, promote, and manage two annual cultural events: 1. One (1) Haitian Cultural Event 2. One (1) Hispanic Cultural Event These events are intended to celebrate the cultural diversity of Lauderhill, showcase heritage and traditions, and engage the community through music, food, art, and entertainment. The promoter shall provide full-service event management, including but not limited to: a. Event Planning & Coordination • Secure venues, permits, and insurance. • Coordinate staging, sound, lighting, and technical production. • Develop event timelines and schedules. b. Programming & Performances • Recruit and manage artists, musicians, cultural performers, and guest speakers. • Curate programming that authentically reflects Haitian and Hispanic cultures. • Ensure family-friendly and inclusive entertainment options. c. Marketing & Promotion • Design and distribute marketing materials (print, radio, social media, website). • Outreach to local businesses, schools, and community groups. • Develop partnerships with Haitian and Hispanic community organizations.
