The Consultant shall perform the services described herein, and other required professional services on an “as needed” basis, as designated, authorized, and assigned by School Board, and School Board agrees to compensate Consultant for such services in accordance with this Contract. Anticipated services may include, but not be limited to the following: 1. Represent the School District as the Engineer of Record and provide construction administration services, as needed. 2. The Consultant shall provide Design/Engineering Services based on the current School District of Osceola County Design Guidelines. 3. Schedule and facilitate design review meetings with Osceola County School District Staff. The Consultant is responsible for facilitating the design meetings, distributing an agenda for each meeting and managing a sign-in sheet. 4. Provide complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Design/Engineering Services and related services to include schematic, design development, cost estimates, and construction documents. The Consultant is required to coordinate the professional services required to support the completed design of the Project. 5. The Consultant shall design systems based on the High-Performance Building Criteria to achieve an Energy Use Intensity (EUI) requirement of 25 or less and a building envelop Air Leakage (Infiltration and exfiltration) maximum of 0.20 CFM/SF at 75Pa. Although renovated buildings are not required to meet the same high-performance requirements as new buildings, there is an expectation for energy efficiency in operational design. The pre-construction EUI will be provided to the consultant and energy conservation measures to reach a minimum of 30% energy reduction shall be presented for consideration during renovations which include HVAC, lighting and domestic water upgrades or replacements. In the case of complete MEP systems replacement, the building shall achieve an EUI of 35 or less.
