Specifications include, but are not limited to: select a minimum of three (3) Design Build Firms to provide support for the Construction of District Projects pursuant to Chapter 1013, Florida Statutes; which are Licensed per Chapter 489, Florida Statutes; to be Selected per Florida Consultant’s Competitive Negotiation Act, Section 287.055 Florida Statutes, and Rule 6A-2.0010, Florida Administrative Code. A. The scope of Design Build work will be identified on a Project basis and will vary depending on Project needs. B. The Project scope of Design Build services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, Additions; Renovations; Alterations to Existing Facilities; Site Improvements; Site Utility Improvements; Building Envelope Renewal, Mechanical System Renewal; Electrical System Renewal; Fire Protection System Renewal; Plumbing System Renewal; Structural System Modifications; Roof Renewal; Security Systems; Athletic Facility Renewal; Classroom Renewal; and Low Voltage/Data System Renewal. C. The scope of work for any project may involve all phases of Project Development listed below and as outlined in Exhibit A General Conditions to the Agreement for Design Build Services: (Attachment F) • Pre-Design Phase • Schematic Design Phase • Design Development Phase • Construction Document Phase • Construction Bid/Award Phase • Construction Phase • Post-Construction Phase
