Specifications include, but are not limited to:. Charlotte County is requesting proposals to obtain the services of a Consultant experienced in the area of Asset Management (EAM) and Work Orders (CMMS - Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to assist the County in the review, procurement and implementation of such a system as it pertains to a government Public Works Department. The County desires the system to have the capability of future expansion beyond this one (1) area. The scope of services to be provided under the direction of the Maintenance and Operations Manager of Public Works Division and shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: Public Works Maintenance and Operations Division is requesting the Consultant perform a resource analysis needs assessment, review current operations for operational efficiencies and review the County’s MSBU system for opportunities of integration into the Asset Management (EAM) and Work Orders (CMMS) system. The County may expand the base requirement to include additional County Departments. If requested, the Consultant will meet with other business units which currently uses the Infor EAMS system, as well as other departments, to gather requirements for a Request for Proposal. Meet at department level with other department heads/managers to gather additional requirements for possible expansion of system. Working with Information Technology and Public Works (and other departments as needed) to develop a Request for Proposal in alignment with County procurement guidelines as provided by the Senior Division Manager-Purchasing. Review Request for Proposal candidates’ submittals and advise selection committee. Oversee the implementation of the selected system by working with the vendor and County departments involved in order to coordinate activities and make recommendations during the implementation phase.
