• The contractor to provide material, labor, equipment, transportation, and taxes to: Conduct Asbestos and lead abatement in community center prior to renovations. • Job includes removal of asbestos and lead found in multiple places throughout community center. • Furnish all equipment, labor and materials to complete the following: To remove and dispose of: • AB: ~ 1,200 SF remnant asbestos black mastic from Community Room (CR) 1 & 3; ~ 1,100 SF Tan asbestos VFT from corridor, CR 2, bathrooms 2; ~ 154 SF Tan asbestos VFT and associated asbestos black mastic from bathrooms; ~ 2 SF asbestos glaze from 2 exterior window panes; and ~ 1,430 SF <1% asbestos texture from ceilings in CR 2, Rooms 2 & 3, and bathrooms 2 & 3. • Price LD: remove lead-based painted door jam from Room 3; scrape and/or encapsulate with lead barrier compound (LBC) all other surfaces with detectable lead levels. • Price includes Davis-Bacon wages and fringes and remobilization to remove containment and equipment when air clearance is passed, and space is deemed suitable for reoccupancy.** • All asbestos/lead abatement shall be performed in accordance with EPA/OSHA guidelines. • All disposals shall be at an EPA approved and permitted landfill facility.
