The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting for an Electrical Services Contractor to perform As Needed Electrical work within the city of St. Pete Beach. They must be licensed in the State of Florida in Electrical Contracting. As needed electrical services may include, but not be limited to: • Respond to requests to troubleshoot or repair city-owned electrical systems, such as lighting, signage, and electrical circuits supporting critical public services. • Coordinate electrical services with other trades (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) when work is performed as part of broader facility maintenance or improvement. • Perform low voltage work such as installing or troubleshooting data cabling, security camera wiring, and communication lines. • Install, replace, and maintain interior and exterior lighting systems, including LED retrofits, parking lot lights, recreation park lights, roadway/bridge lighting, and building-mounted fixtures. • Perform routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections on electrical panels, breaker boxes, lighting systems, and control equipment at City facilities. • Install, replace, and troubleshoot backup power generators and automatic transfer switches for City facilities and wastewater lift stations.
