Specifications include, but are not limited to: update the City of Largos website with a new design and website content management system (CMS). The last major redesign of the Citys website took place in 2006. Since then, much has changed in the architecture of CMS, as well as the level of expectations of services provided by local government websites. Largo is specifically seeking vendors able to provide a new website that includes an updated aesthetic and navigation design as well as a website that supports features such as mobile device compatibility, dynamic content, online services, e-commerce, service requests, citizen engagement, social media tools, third party web service integration, and user-friendly administration. The goal of this RFI is to gather information from government website Content Management System (CMS) vendors about their product in order to better understand what CMS features are available in the current marketplace.
